I'm just so doggone proud of myself.

I made me a skirt....yes I did.

It's a flirty little pink and blue shabby-chic type fabric with a happy wee ruffle at the bottom.  See?

Let me model it for ya.

And what about this fun cloche hat?  LOVE.
BTW, I kinda threw all this together quick-like for my photo-shoot.
I actually wore a tank top and old shorts for my sewing experiment.

Yeah.  I'm pretty stoked.  This opens up a WORLD of possibilities.  If anyone wants a quick tutorial, let me know.  It took all of about 30 minutes, except for adding the ruffled hem.

It's about time for a What I'm Wearing post, so I'll get that up in the next day.
OH, and I also crafted up a superb solution for storing (and showing off!) all my dazzling T1 jewelry.
Can't wait to show you!

  3. Proud you should be! That's an adorable skirt--it's so flattering and fresh. Mind sharing the tutorial? :) And the cloche hat and espadrilles really complement the skirt. A great summery ensemble!
